"David Wasmer's first experiences with photography
came from his father. An hobby photographer himself,
David's dad taught him the basics of the craft on his
Nikon 35mm film camera. After his mother got a digital
camera for the family, eliminating the need for expensive
film and developing, he was hooked. It began just taking
photos during the summer of anything interesting: family,
friends, nature.
His first year at Prout High School in Wakefield, RI,
David realized the need for a school student
photographer, and gladly took the opportunity to expand
his artistic horizons. Now in his senior year, David is still
a student photographer for his high school, all the while
continuing his personal artistic photography.
He has applied to Hillsdale College in Michigan,
and Washington and Lee University in Virgina."
