Katherine Patric was born in the Adirondacks Mountains in 1954. She has lived in various places, including California , Newfoundland, and the Falkland Islands, and now lives in Narragansett, Rhode Island. All her life she has loved the natural world, and her activities demonstrate that . Katherine has spent time surfing, and cruising under sail, as well as hiking and birdwatching. In her paintings, Katherine attempts to reflect her love of beauty and nature. She works in oils, and is self taught. “ Painting is relaxing and almost a form of meditation for me. Sometimes I am overwhelmed by the beauty of creation”. |
